Last night we hit the streets of Durham, NC to celebrate our friend’s *cough, cough* 21st birthday. I knew we’d be out and about quite a bit, so I wanted to be comfortable as well as cute.

This dress I found during the Thanksgiving sales. I took one look at it and scooped it up for 2 reasons! 1. I’m currently infatuated with velvet and 2. It has bell sleeves (double whammy!). See the dress here. The boots are from Shoedazzle and, though you can’t tell from this picture, are flats! Again, I knew we’d be walking quite a bit, so I opted for cute and comfortable.
