Hey ya’ll!

So, it looks like I’ve found my new favorite print for fall; floral! I honestly didn’t feel like floral print transitioned well into fall until I laid eyes on this dress…

The dark color, fabric and flowy, asymmetrical cut of the dress all made for one perfect storms of fall greatness. Plus, this faux wrap dress put out a romantic yet versatile vibe. I knew that I would be able to get good use of it. Below I’m showing three ways that I styled this dress for fall.

For the first look, I kept it simple by just accentuating the dress with cute accessories. I, thankfully, took one final stab at wearing hats and this adorable beret worked out! It was quite questionable at first, but after some rearranging and stuffing (lol), she fit like a glove! Now I need all the berets, but that’s for another post. I pulled out my orange tassel earrings for a pop of color which complimented the floral pattern well. I finished this look off by sliding into my absolute favorite shoe of the season. These booties are a Godsend! They look like I tried when actually I really didn’t (keep my secret, k?). These are literally the house shoe of my going out of the house shoes. I wear them with everything, and they didn’t fail to bring this look together.

I picked this dress up from a local boutique, but I’ve linked some similar dresses below.

For the second look, I tossed on the most comfortable denim jacket I’ve ever owned. This is a more casual look that could be worn on the weekend to a get together with friends or just running errands around town.

I completed the look with a black choker, velvet clutch, and block heeled velvet ankle booties.

For the final look, I leveraged this dress as a skirt by pairing it with my favorite cozy sweater. To give the look a shape, I belted the sweater and bloused it out a bit.

These mauve, lace up pumps meshed well with the overall of feel of this look. This look would work well for a day date or Sunday brunch.

For some reason I always associate brunch with romantic prints and soft fabrics. I got all of that in this look.

I finished this look with these simple drop earrings and a purse that I’ve had in my closet for years! If I’m not mistaken, it was an impulse buy on a target run. Everything comes full circle eventually, huh?
