As you can probably guess, my time at home has been spent reading books. With the slower pace I’ve found more time to focus on growing my personal brand and my business. Russell Brunson’s new book Traffic Secrets has really changed my view of my current processes. Additionally, I’ve learned about new processes that I need to put into place to continue to grow.

My Experience with Traffic Secrets

As I mentioned, since reading the book my perspective about how to draw potential customers to my business has changed. In Traffic Secrets, Russell talks about how the biggest problem that most entrepreneurs have isn’t creating an amazing product or service. Instead, it’s getting their future customers to discover that they even exist. Every year, tens of thousands of businesses start and fail. This is because the entrepreneurs don’t understand this one essential skill: the art and science of getting consumers to find you.

One of the most helpful and eye opening parts of the book goes into finding where you dream customer congregates. Instead of building the great product and waiting for them to come, go find them where they already are. This takes the struggle out of trying to build an audience from scratch. Ideally you would go where the audience has already been built, and getting your message in front of them there. Place a google ad, work with an influencer, or get your business into a weekly newsletter. These are all good ways to to you message in front on an already congregate audience.

Conclusion

Participating in the Traffic Secrets 30-day challenge was exactly what I needed. Especially during this time of exploring ways to expand my business. This book opened my eyes to many strategies that I’d been unfamiliar with. All of which are key to growing my business in the way that desire. I plan to continue implementing what I’ve learned from Traffic Secrets beyond this challenge. In additiona, I plan to purchase Russell Bruson’s other books as well.
